What is Energy Medicine?
Energy Medicine is a set of practices which provide healing by connecting to the Universal energy which creates and binds all things. This invisible energy field surrounds and flows through the body, blockages in the meridians or chakras in your body keep this energy from flowing freely and this causes physical illness. It is the Energy Medicine practitioner's job to release those blockages so the body can heal.
How does Sound Healing work?
Sound Healing uses different sound objects such as Quarts Crystal Singing Bowls, Tuning forks, Drums, Tibetan Bowls, Rain Sticks, Rattles, Gongs, Pan flutes, etc. Each one provides a unique vibrational frequency which resonates with the body. Wherever there is a resistance to the flow of this frequency, lets us know there may be disharmony in that area. By providing the proper sound vibrations that resistance tends to soften so the body can heal and function properly.
What is a Shaman?
A Shaman is one of the most ancient forms of healers, also called Medicine Man or Medicine Woman. Shamans work at the energy level (Four Levels of Perception), therefore Shamans are commonly considered Spiritual Healers or mediators between the physical world and the spirit world, because at the energy level we're working with the Spirit of all things. Shamanic practices are primarily divided into Energy Medicine and Plant Medicine. Not all Shamans practice both branches.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese Energy Medicine technique that channels universal life energy (Ki) through the practitioner's hands to promote relaxation, stress reduction, and overall wellbeing. The Reiki practitioner or Reiki Master lightly places their hands on or above the body to channel the energy to the person's chakras.
